11 Jan MED PROGRAMME: DATA ON 1st CALL FOR MODULAR PROJECTS

The first call for modular projects of the MED Programme closed on 3rd November 2015.
In this call, 377 project proposals were submitted by 4,475 applicants.
Most project proposals (46%) were submitted in Axis 1 – Innovation. The following diagram represents the share of project proposals submitted in each Axis and Specific Objective:

Italy has the highest share of applicants (26.3%), followed by Greece (16%) and Spain (15.8%).
According to the Programme schedule, the first evaluation phase will close in February and the publication of shortlisted project proposals will be in March. The selection process for modular projects will end in July and in August grant contracts will be signed.
