On 25th March the first call for proposals of ADRION Interreg Programme was closed. Overall, the EU contribution available for this call was 33 Million Euro – 28 Million ERDF and 5 Million IPA II.
376 project proposals were submitted, of which:
– 154 under specific objective 2.2, Natural and cultural assets
– 109 under specific objective 1.1, Support innovation
– 73 under specific objective 2.1, Increase environmental sustainability
– 40 under specific objective 3.1, Enhance transport and multimodality

The overall number of beneficiaries involved in this call is 2,983. With 200 applications, Italy is the country with the highest number of lead applicants, followed by Greece (90 lead applicants), Croatia (45) and Slovenia (35).
