28 Feb BIOCHAR PLUS project has officially started

The inception meeting of the international project BIOCHAR PLUS has been held in Udine on February 24-26. Various delegates representing Universities, NGOs and international organizations coming from Cape Verde, Sierra Leon, Ghana, Togo, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe convened at the lead partner’s University of Udine-DISA, together with Starter to kick-off this initiative, which aims at disseminating in the African continent the biochar technology  and at encouraging local development thanks to economic clusters generated around this promising technology. This activity is being supported by UNIDO and African Union, international organizations which are facilitating both private sector mobilization and decision makers at continental scale.
